How to Set Up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on Fincent

Fincent now supports Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to give your account an added layer of security. Your financial data will be protected even if your password is compromised.

All you need to do is enable the MFA feature for your account and you’ll be good to go. We have kept the setup process quick and easy for you.

Follow the simple steps below to get started:

What You’ll Need:

  • Access to your Fincent account
  • A smartphone
  • An authenticator app (like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator)

Step-by-Step Setup Guide:

Step 1: Log in to Fincent

Go to app.fincent.com and sign in with your usual credentials.

Step 2: Go to Security Settings

Click on your profile icon (top right) → Select Account Settings → Navigate to the Security tab.

Step 3: Enable Multi-Factor Authentication

Click on “Enable MFA”. This will generate a QR code on your screen.

Step 4: Scan the QR Code

Once you enable MFA, you’ll be logged out of your account. You’ll get a QR code to log back in.

Open your preferred authenticator app and scan the QR code.

The app will generate a 6-digit one-time code (OTP) that refreshes every 30 seconds.

Step 5: Verify & Activate

Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app into the Fincent platform to verify.

Click “Continue” to complete setup.

That’s it! MFA is now active on your Fincent account.

What Happens Next?

Every time you log in, after entering your password, you’ll be asked for the 6-digit code from your authenticator app.

If you lose access to your device, contact support@fincent.com for assistance.
