You can mark outstanding bills as “paid” from the "To Be Paid" tab in Pay.
Select the outstanding bill, click the 3 dots from the details page and then Mark as Paid.
Add the account you paid from, the payment date, and a comment before clicking Confirm.
Note: Only bills settled through Fincent appear under the "Paid" tab.
Outstanding bills that you mark as paid manually are removed from Pay, but retained in your vendor’s payment history in Directory.
A “Bill Payment” transaction is added to QuickBooks Online (QBO) for the payment. Depending on your Fincent plan, your bookkeeper is alerted that you marked this bill as paid.
Once the amount is deducted from your bank or credit card account, the transaction appears on your Timeline. Depending on your plan, when your bookkeeper or you sync this transaction with QBO, a match is found if the transaction amount on Timeline matches the “Bill Payment” transaction amount in QBO.
