Yes. While you cannot delete invoices that have been paid or are in process, you can delete an invoice if your customer hasn’t initiated payment.
We recommend deleting invoices in Get Paid to keep your Fincent and QuickBooks Online (QBO) accounts in sync.
Go to Get Paid and click on the Requested tab.
Select the invoice that you’d like to delete.
Click the 3 dots on the top right of the invoice and hit Delete.
“Are you sure you want to do this?” Hit Delete on the confirmation alert.
Your invoice will be deleted from both Get Paid and your QBO account. Any documents attached to the invoice will remain untagged in Files for your records.
Your customer will see an “invoice deleted” message when trying to pay.
You can now add a new invoice in Get Paid and send a payment request with the updated invoice, so your customer receives a new email and payment link.
Note: You must be a Fincent user on the Starting, Growing, or Thriving plan to request payments.
